It seems like school just started back a couple weeks ago...where is life going and why is in a hurry to get there? SLLLLOOOOWWW DOOOWWWNNN!
I am celebrating 9 years of marriage today. I can hardly believe it. In the words of my husband:
That was accompanied by this:
Roses and Daisies...my favorite!! He knows me well! Aren't they beautiful!?
I am not exactly sure how I was blessed with this man for a husband but I sure am glad that God knew more than I did! Marriage is work...it's not easy...anyone that tells you that is lying. We get on each others' nerves, we hurt each others' feelings, we are NOT perfect, we fail all the time! But at the end of the day, we love each other...and we put God first (we try very hard...I am sure we fail at this daily...but as long as we are trying...I think that's what makes the difference.) Over the past couple of months, I have come to learn a lot about myself and what kind of wife I want to be for Matt...God is in control and I fully rely on Him to shape me into the woman of God I am supposed to be thus being the best wife I can be.
On a lighter note...we have had the best time Christmas shopping together! It's been fun picking out gifts for each one of our loved ones. Christmas being next week is a little bittersweet! I am not ready for it to be over (mostly because I am not ready to take down all the pretty, sparkly things that's associated with Christmas) but then again, I cannot wait to spend time with everyone and see their faces when they open their gifts!
I hope you make and cherish every moment this holiday!
Merry Christmas...
Love You, Mean It,
